The Center for Intuitive Growth and Healing

Janet has a strong commitment to health and wellness, as well as a dedication to supporting individuals on their own paths toward well-being. Her compassionate nature and leadership skills have enabled her to serve in positions focused on providing care and guidance for others. Janet has facilitated various trauma-focused and marriage groups, where she observed firsthand the significant impact of healing within these environments.
She considers life experiences to be invaluable sources of learning. Janet’s interest in this field was ignited during group work with Dan Allender, co-founder of the Allender Center, which led to her certification in narrative-based trauma care. Subsequently, her involvement in trauma-focused and marriage groups reinforced her understanding of healing’s transformative potential. These experiences motivated Janet to pursue her master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling, reflecting her ongoing commitment to accompanying others through their healing journeys. Now in the final stage of her graduate training, Janet continues to expand her skills and deepen her commitment to walking alongside others in their healing journeys.
Through her academic and professional development, Janet has developed a deep appreciation for the interdependence of mind, body, and spirit, and the ways in which each contributes to overall wellness.
In her therapeutic practice, Janet incorporates both traditional and innovative healing methods. She provides a supportive environment for clients navigating relationship dynamics, career challenges, or personal growth. By attending to mental, physical, and spiritual health, clients are encouraged to cultivate joy and wholeness. Janet’s approach to therapy emphasizes embracing all aspects of oneself—with curiosity, grace, and self-compassion—rather than focusing solely on resolving perceived deficiencies.
Janet values time spent with her family, including her three adult children, their partners, and several pets. She finds relaxation and enjoyment in lakeside retreats, listening to the waves, and reading.
